This site is provided as a resource for people active in the struggle to promote human rights for children. In particular we publish material drawing inspiration from the nurturing family model framework.
Natural Childhood counter pose the progressive model to authoritarian and punitive family models and demonstrate that "traditional" family values that incorporate corporal punishment and rigid doctrinaire control of children is psychologically and physically harmful to the developing child.

Hi, Colette ~
Someone pointed our NVC group to your vids on YouTube and I wanted to say thanks, first of all, and ask you if we need permission to post copies on our account at Associated Content. We're looking for contributions from NVC supporters all over the globe, so let me know if you'd like to participate.

I like to find out more.

Hello Colette.
This is 2011 now. As a great advocate of Alice Miller, I too was delighted to find your blog. It is a great resource, well done and thank you. I hope all is well in your world today.
Raymond
Thanks for your comments @ Child person and Raymond. Alice Miller books and writings changed my life, and was a main inspiration for this blog. One day maybe children and young adults will grow up in a nurturing emotionally healthy family, which is the human right.
